Watch this if you are interested in the future of C#, it is as simple as that.
The video includes lots of information from the main man (Anders Hejlsberg) behind the language. Regardless of LINQ, you see some of the features in the video that are really important such as the ability to extend classes with methods without having to make a derived class and (something what I am coming around too) Lambda functions. The extension of the class was just a small note, but it seemed that by including System.Query each object that was IEnumerable suddenly got extra methods which allowed you to perform SQL style operators. Now that seems pretty darn sweet! It looks pretty sweet, just need to work out where I could use it. If I think of anything more I will let you know :)I lead the Chrome Developer Relations team at Google.
We want people to have the best experience possible on the web without having to install a native app or produce content in a walled garden.
Our team tries to make it easier for developers to build on the web by supporting every Chrome release, creating great content to support developers on web.dev, contributing to MDN, helping to improve browser compatibility, and some of the best developer tools like Lighthouse, Workbox, Squoosh to name just a few.
I love to learn about what you are building, and how I can help with Chrome or Web development in general, so if you want to chat with me directly, please feel free to book a consultation.
